Meditation has been around for centuries but more recently the practice has become more common in western cultures for many great reasons. Incorporating a regular mindfulness practice into your life can provide so many benefits both physically, mentally, and emotionally. Reduce stress and anxiety
Meditation can reduce stress and anxiety by lowering your cortisol levels. When the brain starts to wonder off into future thoughts and worries, this increases cortisol levels.
